Jay-Z continued to solidify his musical legacy by winning a number of Best of the Booth Awards for his collaboration with Alicia Keys, including Best Crossover Record and Best Hip-Hop Record categories. The song was also voted Best Crossover Track and in total the music icon won six awards, including Emcee of the Year while "Blueprint 3", his latest release was voted Best Hip Hop Album by DJBooth.net fans.
Young Money artist Drake picked up a couple of awards including Best New Artist and Best Collaboration for his work with Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Eminem on "Forever".
Meanwhile Kid Cudi won an award for Best R&B/Pop Album for "Man on the Moon" along with The-Dream who had Best Remix Record for "Rockin' That Thang" and Trey Songz who got Best R&B/Pop Record for "I Need A Girl". J Cole, who is considered Jay-Z's protege, also got an award as the Breaking Through artist.
